Digital Dublin Animation
Client: Dublin City Council
Dublin has been rapidly developing as a smart city for many years. Dublin City Council commissioned this animation to showcase its vision for Dublin as a smart and digitally connected city.
Using a broad spectrum of examples, the animation shows connected citizens in recognisable Dublin scenes such as O’Connell Street, the board walk and along the Quays. Examples of future innovative technologies are animated including smart homes, smart integrated city services, electronic health monitoring and public safety, virtual business and environmental analysis. The animation was used for the launch of Dublin’s free public wifi and also at the Open Innovation 2.0 event in the Mansion house. It was also projected as a large animation on to the DCC buildings on Palace Street.
